I first came to yoga about 10 years ago when I was looking for a way of improving my flexibility to compliment my martial arts training, however yoga completely captured my heart and became my passion, not just a part of my life, but a part of who I am.
I truly believe yoga has the potential to change and enhance life in a way we couldn’t have imagined, allowing us to shine as our true selves. I wanted to share the joy that lies at the heart of yoga and this led me onto my own teacher’s journey.
My journey started with children and in 2010 I completed my introduction to Relax Kids followed by Yoga Bananas Teacher training in. Inspired by these courses, storytelling and my arts and crafts knowledge; I have become a creator and owner of My Choga – a creative yoga fun for children aged 2 – 12 years.
After 2 years of teaching children I went to India and trained with some of the best yoga and meditation masters gaining my 200hr Yoga and Meditation Teacher Qualification. I have an experience of teaching various styles of yoga including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Cardio Yoga and Pregnancy yoga. Here in at The Yoga Studio I will be teaching Gentle Hatha and offering Children yoga-art workshops.
I am also a holistic therapist and I truly believe in the body’s ability to heal itself. I tailor treatments to suit the individual needs of each client to ensure they experience the best physical and emotional therapeutic benefits.
