Barre is a ballet inspired workout that also incorporates elements of yoga and pilates, focusing on strength and stability. You don’t need any ballet knowledge or experience to begin barre, but many of the movements are based on the training that ballet dancers take, in a way that is accessible to everyone. Barre uses small, targeted movements to build lean muscle for strength and sculpting, as well as improving posture and balance.
This workshop will introduce you to the basic elements of barre classes, breaking down a full body class and demystifying some of barre’s ballet elements. We will end with a stretching segment to ease out the muscles and allow you to wind down for your weekend. Expect to have fun, feel the burn and walk out feeling super strong
This workshop is perfect for those who have never tried barre before, and also for those who want a workout and to try something different. Finishing will a well deserved, long relaxation.
