“Yogash chitta vritti nirodaha”
Patanjali teaches that “Yoga is the cessation of the fluctuations in the mind field”. When we practice a deep Yin Yoga practice we prepare ourselves physically for the stillness which is initially necessary to achieve this deep state of silence and stillness. When the healing music of the Himalayan singing bowls accompanies your practice, the holistic vibration and resonance field that they create around you helps you to go deeper still. If you would like to learn more about the teachings from The Yoga Sutras and the power of the bowls, join senior Yin Yoga instructor Rebecca Shepherd and Holistic Resonance Master Rowan Carr for a wonderful 4.5 hour session. Starting in silence with a Yin practice, you will then experience Yin as Rowan plays the bowls. You will have the opportunity to practice a bowl meditation and end with a full “Gong Immersion” whilst lying in an aerial hammock, which will carry your practice to amazing depths! Not to be missed!
