My yoga journey started in 2018.
After losing a significant amount of weight I had become bored with daily gym workouts and one day decided to try hot vinyasa yoga.
Although at the time I couldn’t even hold a downward-facing dog, I immediately fell in love with yoga and started to practice for several hours a day.
Within a year from my first yoga class I had attended over 300 classes and have completed my 200 Hour YTT here at The Yoga Studio Carlisle, and now have the honour of teaching at this beautiful studio.
On a personal level, yoga has helped me cope with anxiety, allowed me to make lovely new friends, build a new life here in Carlisle, and also helps me manage a health condition called Fibromyalgia.
I hope to bring a unique perspective to my classes, which allows students of all abilities to practice at a level to suit each individual.
I look forward to meeting you on the mat soon and guiding you through your practice.
