My relationship with yoga commenced many years ago and although I dipped in and out of yoga classes it was not until 2012 that yoga became a passion for me.
As my love of yoga grew I tried many forms of yoga including hot yoga, dynamic, ashtanga, restorative, aerial and yin yoga. I continue to practice these various forms of yoga.
In 2016 I trained to be a yoga teacher with Sonja Appel (Sushumna Yoga based in Goa) and I am accredited with Yoga Alliance (200 hours).
Prior to this I worked as a solicitor then a barrister.
I am committed to the yogic way of life and I am a committed vegan.
I believe myself to be kind and compassionate and hope that this features within my teaching practice.
I teach adults and children.
I love the yoga community and find it to be really supportive. I feel blessed that in my yoga practice I found what truly makes my soul sing.
I also practice pranayama and meditation which I incorporate into my classes.
I am a qualified children’s yoga teacher and teach in various schools in and around Carlisle and run children’s yoga classes in Carlisle and Wigton.
I am due to qualify as an aerial yoga teacher in May 2017. I love the freedom that this allows and it is great fun.
I am insured with Yoga Alliance.
I have a clear Disclosure and Barring Service check dated 3rd January 2017.
