This training will furnish you with the practical knowledge and skill you will require to start teaching Yin Yoga. You will learn the relevant anatomy and physiology and how skeletal variation inhibits students in their achievement of certain poses. It will also introduce “The Modern MeridianTheory” to be expanded on in Level 2.
Paul Grilley says:
“Yin Yoga is not a trademarked system and no special certification is required to teach it. But we believe the anatomical principles taught in our program will make you a much better yoga teacher, not just a better yin yoga teacher, but a better teacher of all forms of yoga. Because all forms of yoga are dealing with the same anatomical variations of the bones and fascia.”
Having studied with Paul for 11 years now, Rebecca will pass on the relevant and up to date information on how to teach Yin Yoga confidently and safely.
If you are already a Yoga Teacher then this training will furnish you with all the information you need to start teaching Yin Yoga in a safe and responsible manner and how to inspire your students to enjoy this amazing practice. It counts as 50hrs CPD with Yoga Alliance. However, if all you desire is an “immersion” in to Yin, then you will love this introductory course.
