Aerial yoga uses a low hanging fabric to support the weight of the body and is an amazing experience. The additional support provided by the hammock enables practitioners to work deeply into the poses to achieve postural alignment.
If you are looking to teach aerial yoga or just immerse yourself in the hammock to extend your practice further, then this training is suitable for you. Please note you have to be a fully qualified Yoga Teacher to take part in this training if you want to teach. However if you just want an immersion in aerial or so you can have a hammock at home etc you can do it as a student if you want to do it for yourself without teaching it.
Course Outline
Emma takes a structured approach through the sequences giving you the opportunity to practice teaching from Day 1. Emma’s intention is to provide you with the tools to teach aerial yoga YOUR WAY!
There is a practical and theoretical exam.
During this course you will learn to:
Use the hammock safely and develop a personal practice
Teach and develop aerial yoga classes for groups and individuals
How to teach safely and enjoy being confident in your capability as an aerial teacher.
Learn how to sequence a class, ask questions and observe Emma teaching a class you can obtain notes on extra sequencing and flow.

Places are strictly limited to 8 persons to enable sufficient time for students to develop their personal practice and obtain sufficient valuable teaching time at The Yoga Studio.
The yoga studio Carlisle is a few minutes walk away from the train and bus station and central to lots of bed and breakfasts as well as hotels.
