This 5 week beginners course with Janet, our founding teacher, is the perfect opportunity to find out more about yoga.
Everyone is different both physically and emotionally and as a consequence your yoga is also unique to you. What is special about our course is that Janet encourages you to go beyond what a pose looks like and to look within to notice what it feels like for you. The aesthetics of the pose are not important. If you are feeling the pose then you are doing the pose and will get the benefits from it.
During the course Janet will introduce you to the basic physical postures, as well as meditation and breathing practice in week 5.
Janet and Kirsty will provide individual guidance so that you know what you are trying to achieve in each pose, what stops you and how to progress safely. If for any reason you are going to miss a week then she will encourage you to come early the following week so you can catch you up on what you have missed.
